About the Lee County Community Foundation
The Lee County Community Foundation was founded in 1997 and is a local affiliate foundation of the North Carolina Community Foundation. Willam T. Wilson, Jr.’s Career and Volunteer Work
Mr. Wilson was born in Apex, NC; he attended NC A& T State University and N.C. Central School of Law. Throughout his law career, he has not lost sight of what inspired him to enter the legal field more than four decades ago: the desire to help regular people navigate the complicated legal system in a way that is accessible and beneficial to them. That inspiration still drives Mr. Wilson and everything he does.
Giving back to the community has always been important to Mr. Wilson, and it is a core part of the firm’s culture. He believes that everyone should be an asset to and help improve the communities in which they live and work and that every contribution, small or large, matters. Mr. Wilson has embodied the true meaning of “service.” This attitude has allowed him to serve the community successfully for over forty years.
All of us here at WRD celebrate Mr. Wilson’s Man of the Year award from the Lee County Community Foundation. Congratulations, Mr. Wilson!
